First, let me thank you for your interest in South Venice Christian Church, I know there are any many choices today in places to worship.
Here at South Venice, we believe in Jesus’s words that he spoke in Matthew 22:35-39:
35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
We believe these words and practice them to the best of our ability, our membership
is comprised from people from many different backgrounds, but we all have the same desire, the desire to honor our Lord through our love for God and our love for our neighbor. We want to share that love with you and share God’s wonderful plan of salvation and his words of life.
